Billing & Subscription - Managing Your Plan
Guide to managing your subscription, updating payment methods, and understanding your billing in Tracksales.
Managing your Tracksales subscription and billing is straightforward. This guide covers everything you need to know about your account billing.
1. Viewing Your Subscription
To see your current plan:
- Go to Settings → Billing & Subscription
- View your current plan (Starter, Growth, or Enterprise)
- See billing cycle (Monthly or Annual)
- Check next billing date
- View plan features and limits
2. Upgrading Your Plan
To upgrade to a higher plan:
- Go to Billing & Subscription
- Click "Upgrade Plan"
- Select the new plan
- Review pricing and features
- Confirm upgrade
- Changes take effect immediately
You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing period.
3. Downgrading Your Plan
To move to a lower plan:
- Go to Billing & Subscription
- Click "Change Plan"
- Select a lower plan
- Review what features you'll lose
- Confirm downgrade
- Changes take effect at the end of your current billing period
4. Managing Payment Methods
Update how you pay:
- Add new payment method (M-Pesa, Bank Transfer, Credit Card)
- Update existing payment information
- Set default payment method
- Remove old payment methods
5. Billing History
View past invoices and payments:
- Access all past invoices
- Download invoices as PDF
- View payment history
- Track subscription changes
6. Canceling Subscription
To cancel your subscription:
- Go to Billing & Subscription
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Select cancellation reason
- Confirm cancellation
- Your account remains active until the end of the paid period
- Export your data before cancellation
7. Switching Billing Cycle
Change between monthly and annual billing:
- Switch from monthly to annual to save up to 20%
- Or switch from annual to monthly for flexibility
- Changes take effect on your next billing date
- Prorated adjustments are made automatically
💡 Pro Tip
Annual billing saves you money. If you're on monthly billing and plan to use Tracksales long-term, consider switching to annual billing to take advantage of the discount.
